As part of the brand’s sports sponsorship portfolio, Hotels.com partnered with France Ligue 1 side Olympique de Marseille. A partnership which saw an industry first, with the brand’s logo appearing on the shorts of the club. Blueprint created a unique beach set at the training ground which saw the players pose for official photos in deck chairs on their custom beach as well as conducting media interviews. Match day saw former club legend Robert Pires and local Marseille celebrities walk a custom-built red carpet in the branded shorts and formal shirt and tie. Coverage appeared across Europe including the home market of France which generated significant pick up across broadcast and national media.
