Rob
Hughes

Rob Hughes has worked in the sports and entertainment industries for over 20 years having started his career at SKY Sports working across the broadcaster’s signature football, cricket and golf productions. Following SKY, Rob moved agency side working for leading PR agencies Ketchum and Hill & Knowlton on brands including Gillete, adidas, Whirlpool, Heineken, Pepsi, Carlsberg, Tommy and more. Having worked extensively on behalf of adidas agency side, Rob moved to Germany in 2008 to work for the brand in global football PR and quickly moved through the ranks to head global football PR & Social Media before eventually leading the global newsroom overseeing PR, Social Media and influencer across all sport, style and lifestyle categories. During Rob’s time with the brand, he worked on, and led, over ten UEFA Champions League and Europa League campaigns, three FIFA World Cups, two Olympics and Paralympics, multiple Fashion Weeks and more. Rob also led all product, talent and brand crisis and issues topics and oversaw campaigns for Messi, Pogba, Kanye amongst others. Rob left the brand in 2017 to work with talent clients including Maro Itoje, David Gandy, Gareth Bale and Naomi Harris before setting up Blueprint in 2018. Rob now guides the future growth of the agency from a marketing perspective across both brand and talent clients.

Woffenden

George Woffenden has worked in sports and entertainment for over 15 years. Working agency side at Arena International, brandRapport, Synergy, Weber Shandwick and Clifford French, George has worked on the marketing and PR of some of the biggest sponsorships in world sport, including The FA Cup sponsored by E.ON, Barclays Premier League, GUINNESS Premiership, RBS 6 Nations, Betfair’s sponsorship of Manchester United and FC Barcelona and many more. Before moving into commercial representation, he led EA SPORTS’ PR talent campaigns for the leading developer’s titles FIFA, Tiger Woods Golf, Battlefield and Sims. During his time working in management George has managed the commercial interests of leading athletes and talent including Gareth Bale, Maro Itoje, Paul Hollywood, David Gandy, Dani Minogue and Tilly Ramsey.

Nicole
Vollebregt

Nicole Vollebregt is a global marketing leader and has been at the forefront of the evolution of the sport and
entertainment communications industry for over two decades. Having started her career in public relations,
Nicole quickly became a leading figure at global sportwear giant adidas where she oversaw brand marketing for
the adidas Style division that included Y-3, NEO and adidas Originals. During her tenure, Nicole was instrumental
in establishing the brand’s entertainment and trend department, delivering leading industry names to the
business including Pharrell Williams, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, and more. In 2016 Nicole was named one of Fast
Company’s Most Creative People before going on to lead brand marketing globally across all categories and
marketing touchpoints. During her career as SVP Global Brand Marketing at adidas, alongside numerous award-
winning marketing campaigns, Nicole launched ground-breaking initiatives including the Adi Dassler Fund, the
brand’s founding philanthropic initiative, led the charge to offer equal bonuses to the participants in the 2019
FIFA Women’s World Cup as well as establishing strategic partnerships with the likes of Stella McCartney to offer
sustainable sport inspired fashion for women. In 2021 Nicole founded We Are On Purpose with female partners
in a mission to be accelerators of change, working with start-ups and corporations creating profitable
organisations with inclusion at their core.

Guillem Balagué is a world-renowned football pundit, author, analyst and broadcaster who has been awarded wide-ranging global accolades as a biographical author and for his work across the football industry. His in-depth, expert knowledge on the game has made him one of the most recognised faces in the industry, trusted to write insider accounts of legends including Lionel Messi, Mauricio Pochettino, Diego Maradona and Pep Guardiola. Alongside decades of on-screen work at Sky Sports and more recently freelancing with leading global broadcasters including BBC 5 Live, CBS, TV2, La Liga TV, ITV and many more, Guillem is chairman of non-league club Biggleswade United FC – where he plays a pivotal role in the development and evolution of the club. Guillem joins the Blueprint Advisory Board as Chairman having been with the agency since its inception in 2018.

Andy
Sutherden 

Andy Sutherden is one of the leading voices in the sports marketing and sponsorship industry. Having started his career at MH&P, one of the industry’s founding agencies, Andy moved to Golin Harris (formerly Paragon) and was at the forefront of what many agree helped create the template for best-in-class sports marketing: Carling’s long term football partnerships with both the Premier League and then the Football League.  Andy left Golin Harristo join H+K Strategies under the powerful umbrella of WPP, where he setup and built an award-winning global sports marketing and sponsorship division boasting some of the industry’s most formidable brands including P&G, HSBC, Gillette, Team GB, Castrol, adidas and many more. Andy, who has appeared in PR Week’s Global Power Book and was named as one of the UK’s top five sports communication professionals, left H&K Strategies in 2019 to join Creative Artists Agency as their International Head of Brand Consulting. More recently, he has launched his own consulting business after training to become a certified Executive Business Coach and Non-Executive Director, giving counsel on partnership strategy, brand building and integrated communications.

Bax

Simon Bax has been one of the foremost protagonists of change in the media and entertainment industry. Simon
has spent much of his career in the United States where he held positions including chief financial officer (CFO)
of Chiat/Day, the global advertising agency, executive vice-president and CFO of studio operations at 20th
Century Fox and subsequently Executive Vice President and CFO of Pixar Animation Studios where he reported
directly to Steve Jobs. Following Disney’s $7.4billion acquisition of Pixar he founded a global technology services
company, Encompass Digital Media, which was acquired by Private Equity and he returned to the UK where he
took up a number of Board roles including becoming Executive Chairman of regional publisher Archant. After
leaving his role in 2021, Simon co-founded Clear Sky Publishing to create a new model for local media.
